【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandarda)specifiestheminimumrequirementsforthedesignoflabelscontainingalinearbarcodeandtwo-dimensionalsymbolsonproductpackagestoconveydatabetweentradingpartners,b)providesguidancefortheformattingonthelabelofdatapresentedinalinearbarcode,two-dimensionalsymbolsorhuman-readableform,c)providesspecificrecommendationsregardingthechoiceoflinearbarcodeand2Dsymbologies,specifiesqualityrequirementsandclassesofbarcodedensity,d)providesspecificrecommendationsregarding2Dsymbologies,whichallowabroadchoiceforgeneraluseofscanninghardware(e.g.areaimagers,linearimagers,single-linelaserscanners,andrasteringlaserscanners),ande)makesrecommendationsastolabelplacement,sizeandtheinclusionoffreetextandanyappropriategraphics.ThisInternationalStandardsupportsitemidentificationandsupplychainprocesses,attheproductpackagelevel,suchasinventorycontrol,picking,andpointofuse.NOTEISO15394supportsthedistributionandtransportationbusinessprocesses,soaidingthetracingandtrackingofuniqueshipments.ThepurposeofthisInternationalStandardistoestablishthemachine-readable(e.g.barcode)andhuman-readabledatacontentoflabelsappliedtoproductpackages.Intendedapplicationsinclude,butarenotlimitedto,inventory,warehousemanagement,maintenanceandpointofpurchase.Whileguidanceisprovided,specificlabeldimensionsormarkingareas,andthelocationoftheinformationarenotdefinedinthisInternationalStandard.Beforeimplementingthisspecification,suppliersandmanufacturersareadvisedtoreviewandmutuallyagreeonthesedetailswiththeirtradingpartners.ThisInternationalStandarddoesnotsupersedeorreplaceanyapplicablesafetyorregulatorymarkingorlabellingrequirements.Itisintendedtosatisfytheminimumproductpackagerequirementsofnumerousapplicationsandindustrygroups.Assuch,itsapplicabilityistoawiderangeofindustries,eachofwhichmayhavespecificimplementationguidelines.ThisInternationalStandardisapplicableinadditiontoanyothermandatedlabellingrequirements.
