【摘要】:1.1Theserequirementscovercord-connectedelectricallyoperatedlawnmowersrated250voltsorlesstobeemployedinaccordancewiththeNationalElectricalCode,ANSI/NFPA70.Theserequirementsalsocoverbattery-operatedlawnmowers.1.2TheserequirementsdonotcoverequipmentforuseinhazardouslocationsasdefinedintheNationalElectricalCode,ANSI/NFPA70.1.3Theserequirementsdonotcoversulky-typelawnmowers,gardentractorsortheirattachments,flailmowers,sickle-barmowers,orlawnmowersintendedforcommercialuse.1.4Inadditiontotherequirementsinthisstandard,alawnmowershallcomplywiththeSafetySpecificationforConsumerTurf-CareEquipment-Walk-BehindMowersandRide-OnMachineswithMowers,ANSIB71.1,andwiththeSafetyStandardforWalk-BehindPowerLawnMowers,16CFR1205.(1.4revisedeffectiveMay31,2007)1.5Inthetext,arequirementthatappliesonlytoarotaryorothertypeoflawnmowerisidentifiedbyaspecificreferenceinthatrequirementtothespecificlawnmowerinvolved.Absenceofthespecificreference,oruseofthetermlawnmower,indicatesthattherequirementappliestoallofthelawnmowerscoveredinthisstandard.
