【摘要】:ThispartofISO2884isoneofaseriesdealingwiththesamplingandtestingofpaints,varnishesandrelatedproducts.ItsupplementsISO2431:1993,Paintsandvarnishes—Determinationofflowtimebyuseofflowcups.Itspecifiesthegeneralproceduretobefollowedindeterminingthedynamicviscosityofpaints,varnishesandrelatedproductsatarateofshearbetween9000sand12000s.Thevalueobtainedgivesinformationabouttheresistanceofferedbythematerialtobrushing,sprayingandrollercoatingduringapplication.ThemethodspecifiedinthispartofISO2884issuitableforallpaintsandvarnisheswhethertheyareNewtonianinbehaviourornot.Materialscontainingdispersionsoflargeparticleswillproducespuriousresults.
